I agree with Duane that leadership is not a born right but one that developes over time to include many insights. The skilled leader can draw on these insights in different situations and have people respond. The really skilled leader can also let others spread their wings and lead and trust that they can accommplish a goal, and learn from that experience as well.

During the secondary LRT-Principal meeting, an interesting comment was made. One principal indicated that he viewed leadership as the overarching umbrella under which coaching and assessment interpretation fit. I agree with this.
